Yep!

While our contracts aren’t super long or overly dense, they do provide both you and us with some parameters to guide our relationship. And, in order for us to start working on your project, we’ll need your signature on two documents: an Order Form and a Letter of Agreement.

The Order Form is exactly what it sounds like. It’s simply a 1-page document that details what you’re purchasing from us at what cost to you. You can provide us your payment information, and you can see a breakdown of the set-up versus monthly subscription charges. You won’t sign it until you decide what it is that you want, and we’ve come to an agreement about the costs for those services. Easy.

The Agreement Letter is a little bit longer (3 pages), and it outlines the terms and conditions of our business relationship. Here’s the highlight reel:

  • Support
    • The bigger the issue, the faster we work to fix it. MokoApp will provide email support for technical issues. While we strive to respond as fast as possible, support requests are placed in a queue. While rare, should a technical issue arise that renders our service inoperable, these requests receive top priority and are worked on diligently. Other support requests are worked on and addressed as soon as practicably possible and in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Security
    • Hacking happens. We fight it, but no system is 100% hack-proof. While MokoApp deploys some of the latest security techniques and technologies, no online system is 100% secure. Unfortunately, in this day and age, there are bad actors who spend their time trying to hack and steal others’ information. While we work diligently to prevent them, we are not responsible for data loss and data errors. Your community should make sure it is comfortable with this risk before signing up for the service.
  • Term
    • Long-term contracts aren’t ideal for you, so we don’t do them. We don’t believe in locking customers into long term contracts, especially if they do not feel like our service is a good fit for their community. Therefore, our agreement is month to month, with the ability to cancel after giving 30 days notice. The only time we may require an annual commitment is with our digital pool pass service. For this service we ask that you work with us for one year to determine if the service works for you.
  • User Data
    • Your data is yours. We don’t give it to anyone else. As the customer, you would own the resident data that is generated from your community within our service. We do not license this data or share it with any third party marketing services. We take residents’ privacy very seriously and protect it like our own. We do however reserve the right to compile aggregate data (data that is not identified to a specific resident) to monitor and review the performance of our service. Our purpose and goal in this is to make sure the service is running as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Not very many people love contracts, but they do create some safety and stability for all involved. We try to make ours as clear and simple as possible, and we’ll never ask you to sign anything you’re unclear about.

Because our business is built on month-to-month service contracts, we’re really in the business of relationship-management. If you’re not happy, we’re not happy, and we’ll fix it.
